Description
Respect the Ride: Few of us truly follow the rules, even when the rules are no-brainers. Without straying from the TriMet brand, a series of illustrated channel cards were created to depict the most crucial and basic rules for riding on buses and light rail. Photography posed a greater potential to be ignored (again) so I offered up my illustration. We avoided the trappings of the obvious by making it fun and introducing unique perspectives through potential scenarios. Kind of a no-brainer, huh?
WES Safety: Light rail is very different from commuter rail. It's a difference of size, power, speed, and even sound. While commuter rail was a long-awaited commodity in the metropolitan area, it was also something that needed to be introduced with great care. This poster series depicts the power and grave nature of walking or driving near commuter lines. The designs were crafted to be bold in contrast to their very simple messages.
